From Richwood Division of Police reports:

On Aug. 10, an officer responded to the 30 block of East Bomford Street for suspicious circumstances at 12:39 a.m.

Michael Harmon, 35, of Richwood, was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence and strangulation following units being dispatched to the 10 block of Beatty Avenue for a domestic dispute at 3:11 a.m., Aug. 10.

An officer was sent to the 200 block of West Ottawa Street at 3:09 p.m., Aug. 10, for a civil standby request.

In the 100 block of Beatty Avenue on Aug. 10, an officer responded for a well-being check at 4:06 p.m.

A civil standby was conducted in the 10 block of Beatty Avenue at 2:37 p.m., Aug. 11.

Police responded to a theft report in the 10 block of Beatty Avenue at 10:33 p.m., Aug. 11.

An unruly juvenile report was made in the 50 block of East Bomford Street and an officer responded at 7:10 a.m., Aug. 12.

Two civil standbys were conducted in the 10 block of Beatty Avenue on Aug. 12 at 9:49 a.m. and 2:27 p.m.

A loose dog was reported in the 10 block of East Bomford Street at 3:46 p.m., Aug. 12. The owner of the dog said it was located and returned.

Another civil standby was conducted in the 10 block of Beatty Avenue on Aug. 12 at 6:24 p.m.

An officer responded to an alarm drop in the 20 block of West Ottawa Street at 8:24 p.m., Aug. 12.

Police followed up on a 911 call from the 10 block of North Franklin Street on Aug. 12 at 10:16 p.m.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by an officer with a report of a suspicious circumstances on Woodland and Boundary Road at 1:51 p.m., Aug. 13.

In the 100 block of South Fulton Street on Aug. 14, an officer responded for a request to do a well-being check at 2:56 p.m.

At 3:01 p.m., Aug. 14, an officer responded to the 10 block of Beatty Avenue for a report of a protection order violation. Upon arrival, it was determined that the protection order had not been violated.

Joshua Lowe, 43, of Richwood, was taken into custody for active arrest warrants out of Marion County at 10:45 p.m., Aug. 14 after an officer spotted Lowe’s suspicious vehicle at the Richwood Park during routine patrol. The arresting officer met with a Marion County deputy and custody was transferred to them.

An assault was reported in the 200 block of Grove Street at 7:44 a.m., Aug. 15. An officer arrived on-scene and no charges were filed.

In the 100 block of Beatty Avenue at 5:37 p.m., Aug. 15, an officer responded to a report of assault. The report is still under investigation.

Telecommunications Harassment was reported in the 100 block of Beatty Avenue at 8:16 p.m., Aug. 15.

Police were dispatched to the Richwood Lake and Park at 9:04 a.m., Aug. 16, for a report of trespassing and theft.
