NU golf programs start the 2025 season on the right foot

North Union’s boys and girls golf programs have started the 2025 fall season strong in its first slate of matches.
The boys golf team has got off to a good start this season, winning four of five dual matches and finishing second in the Bellefontaine Invitational. Head Coach Aric Brown welcomed four letterwinners from last year squad. Returning are Jaxon Jolliff, Hudsyn Wilson, Reese Spriggs and Ethan Monroe. Newcomers to varsity play are Jensen Stover, Alex Jolliff and Braylen Riffle. Jaxon Jolliff shot a 69 in the Bellefontaine Invitational and along with Monroe have broken 40 in nine-hole dual matches. Other members of the team are Austin McMahon, Will Jones, Wyatt Stacklin, Keegan Donohue and Josiah Stover.

The Lady Cats returned six players from last year’s team.
Letterwinners taking to the links for Head Coach Mitchell Loomis are Lexi Golinghorst, Delaney Workman. Gabby Lindsey, Leah Bledsoe, Macey Stiffler and Lanie Spencer. The Lady Cats have split their two reported Central Buckeye Conference matches, downing Benjamin Logan and losing to Indian Lake. Lindsey was team medalist in both matches. Other members of the team are Hannah Wilde, Lily Hall and Bella Rensel.
