Richwood Civic Center

Time is flying by! School is starting which means football will be starting (my favorite sport) which means filled weekends for a while. Harvesting of gardens continues and getting ready for all the fun fall festivities will be keeping me busy.

Here at the Richwood Civic Center, we are busy getting ready for the Richwood Independent Fair. On Friday Aug. 29 is Senior and Veterans Day at the fair. Entertainment starts at 11 a.m. with a free lunch being served at noon. Bingo starts at 1 p.m., which gives you an opportunity to win lots of prizes. This is going to be a fun packed day.

On Saturday, Sept. 13, we will be hosting our Ruth Woods Fun Run/Walk. Registration starts at 8:15 a.m. with the race starting promptly at 9 a.m. Come run or walk and join the fun. All proceeds benefit the Richwood Civic Center which was founded by Ruth Woods.

Have a great week!
