Former NU head football coach still has passion for the game

Some things never change for one former North Union head football coach.

Now serving as the team’s defensive coordinator, some aspects to Jesse Miller’s coaching style have changed but some remain the same.

He was the previous head football coach for the Wildcats before Nick Hajjar took the role around 2013. After about six years at the position, family time became an increasing aspect of his life.

“When I came here as a head coach, we had zero (kids) and when I left, we had three little ones all under five [years old],” Miller said, adding he still felt a passion for the football program after leaving the head coaching role. “I loved our kids and this program.”
