Wildcats take advantage of summer scrimmages

Off-season scrimmages of any kind offer opportunities for individual players to work on their craft.

For two players on North Union’s football team, one is gearing up for his second season starting at quarterback, while the other is making up for lost time.

Dainon Lindsey, a junior, has not played organized football since the sixth grade. Lindsey switched gears following the basketball season to go to the gridiron after conversations he had with Nickolas Hajjar.

“Basketball was always my main sport,” Lindsey said. “[Hajjar] convinced me to try it (football) out.”
