NUAC holds reverse raffle, continues to raise funds for North Union athletics since 1977

It was a night of fun and excitement, but throughout the annual North Union Athletic Committee Reverse Raffle, the goal of helping the athletes within the North Union program was never pushed into the background.

“A good time was had by all in attendance,” NUAC President Reddy Brown said. “Funds will be used to support North Union athletics.”

The main highlight of the night was the “Reverse Raffle.”

A total of 300 tickets were sold and during the night tickets were drawn from a barrel until 10 were left with a chance for the $15,000 first prize.

Tickets continued to be drawn and after each ticket those remaining would have to decide unanimously to continue the drawing or …
