Benny’s carryout set to return after fire

It’s been a long road to recovery but the carryout building for Benny’s Pizza is set to reopen in just a few short weeks.

Owner Fred Neumeier said he wants to be the first to apologize to customers waiting on normal operations to resume after a fire closed the building early last year, but added the business will be open soon.

“I’m going to guess about two to three weeks,” he said. “Our wait right now is with the gas company. So, they’re going to bring a meter in here in about a week and get us fired up with gas, but we only got to go through some permits, some final permits, but everything’s pretty much ready.”
