July begins fair season in our local area. I hope some of you were able to enjoy the Marion County Fair this past week. Madison County Fair has begun and ends on July 15, Franklin County Fair is July 17 through July 23, Union County Fair is July 23 through July 29, the Ohio State Fair starts on July 26 and ends Aug. 6, our famous Richwood Independent Fair starts on Aug. 26 and ends on Sept. 1 and Delaware County Fair starts on Sept. 16 through Sept. 23.

July 23 is senior day at the Union County Fair. Seniors 60+ get in free from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. that day. Senior activities start at 10 a.m. with bingo, music and a lunch provided by Union County Senior Services. We have…
