The Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association held its most recent event of the 2025 season earlier this week.

Young linksmen competed at Blues Creek Golf Course, just north of Marysville.

A few local golfers finished among the top in their respective age division.

Jaxon Jolliff tied with Ridgemont’s Will Browning for third place in the 16-18 division.

They both carded scores of 75.

North Union’s Ethan Monroe was one stroke behind Jolliff and Browning with a 76.

Parker Steffani of Delaware Hayes won the age bracket with matching nine-hole scores of 35.

His overall score of 70 included 13 pars and a trio of birdies.

After five tournaments to date this summer, Jolliff stands in fourth place in the division.

Alex Jolliff of North Union finished with a score of 82 while competing in the 13-15 age bracket at Blues Creek.

Clay Rogers of Wynford shot a 76 to win the division, while Toby Holman of Upper Sandusky was the runner-up with a 77.

Bryant Berry of Colonel Crawford and Olentangy’s Blake Gibson tied for third with matching scores of 79.

Jolliff was behind them and finished ahead of Christian Hart of Galion.

Jenson Stover of North Union is ranked fifth for the season in that age bracket.
