Sheriff’s Report
From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy went to the Marion Correctional Institution to take custody of Eric Scott Lyons, 47, of Delaware, on an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:34 a.m., June 11. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
In the 16000 block of Wallace Road at 5:14 p.m., June 11, a deputy was sent to a residence to investigate fraudulent charges on the victim’s bank account.
A report of subjects firing a gun into a field from the inside of a vehicle was investigated by an Ohio Department of Natural Resources game warden in the 27000 block of Zook Road at 6:20 p.m., June 11. The warden located the vehicle, issued a summons to the passenger and handled the investigation.
A deputy was dispatched to a home in the 29000 block of Schofield Road at 8:54 p.m., June 11, to investigate a report of continued and ongoing telecommunication harassment. A report was taken.
A deputy met with a Richwood police officer to take custody of Sherri L. Jordan, 36, of Marysville, on an outstanding arrest warrant June 12 at 9:57 a.m. She was transported to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a business in the 23000 block of Route 4 to investigate a possible robbery in progress at 3 p.m., June 14. After further investigation it was determined that the suspects were there from a construction company attempting to offer work on the building. No report was taken.
The Richwood Police Department were assisted by deputies with a possible fight at a home on Race Road at 6:16 p.m., June 14. No report was taken.
A deputy went to a home in the 27000 block of Ford Reed Road to help settle a dispute over custody at 8:30 p.m., June 15. No report was taken.
The Richwood Police Department was assisted by a deputy at a home on East Bomford Street at 8:32 a.m., June 16, with a person experiencing a mental health crisis. The Richwood Police Department handled the investigation.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail at 2:46 p.m., June 16, to take custody of Jason Lee Marcum, 45, of Columbus, on an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail at 8:08 p.m., June 16, to take custody of Michael Edward Holden, 39, of Plain City, on an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
From Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
A trooper responded to Route 347 near milepost 14 at 9:40 p.m., June 11, for a 2014 Chevrolet Impala that struck a deer while traveling southwest.
Patrol units responded to Route 31 near milepost 13 at 9:43 p.m., June 15, for a property damage crash involving a 2024 Chevrolet Malibu that struck a deer traveling southeast.
