June 11, 1925
Mrs. J.L. Fisher entertained fifteen little girls with a party at her home in honor of her daughter, Mary Alice’s fifth birthday. The guests included the members of her Sunday school class and their teacher, Miss Jo. Howser, and Miss Gladys Bown and Mrs. J. A. Shipley. The time was spent with games and amusements. Light refreshments were served, the feature being a birthday cake with lighted candles. Little Miss Fisher received many nice presents.

Mrs. Bruce Street entertained a number of girls at her home for dinner in honor of her daughter, Mary Esther’s thirteenth birthday. Those present were: Mildred Duke, Starling Cramer, Jean Embrey, Jane McAllister, Katharine Thibaut and the guest of honor.
