Gabby Lindsey and Griffin Osborne will be representing North Union this week in the Ohio High School Athletic Association state track championships.

Lindsey will be in two events and Osborne in one following last weekend’s Division II regional meet at Lexington High School last week.

Lindsey finished second in the girls 400 with the time of 56.77 seconds while Osborne was second in the boys long with a leap of 22 feet, 1 inch.

The top four in each event automatically qualify for the state meet but Lindsey will also be among the participants in the girls 200.

She was sixth (25.53) in the regional final but her time was among the top two of those outside the automatic qualifiers, allowing her to advance to the state meet.
