Wildcats win over Kenton, fall short to Northridge

By By Bob Putman, Richwood Gazette

Not your ordinary baseball game is probably the best way to describe it.

The “it” would be last Tuesday’s non-league contest between Kenton and North Union at North Union.

There was a seven-run first inning by North Union in which it did not get a hit.

That was followed by four-run outburst by Kenton in the second inning in which it had just one hit.

After 11 runs being scored in the first two innings on just one hit, there was only one more run scored the rest of the way.

When it was over, North Union came away with an 8-4 victory as North Union honored its four senior players. Tyler Krebehenne, Evan Beery, Miles Marlette and Ashton Haubiel.
