From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:

A deputy investigated an attempted theft of a resonator at a residence in the 11000 block of Hopewell Road at 10:07 a.m., May 6. No report was taken.

A deputy spoke with a resident over the phone from the 19000 block of Powder Lick Road regarding a possible scam at 9:03 a.m., May 7. No report was taken.

Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS district, Northwestern Fire District and the Marysville Fire Department responded to the intersection of Route 31 and Harmon Patrick Road at 12:32 p.m., May 7, to investigate an injury crash involving a 2015 Honda Accord that struck a deer. A crash report was taken.
