Lady Cat claims two titles during West Liberty-Salem track and field invitational

North Union’s Gabby Lindsey won two individual titles and was part of a winning relay team last Friday at the West Liberty-Salem Invitational.

Lindsey won the 400 in the time of 59.04 seconds and later led the field in the 200 with a time of 26.05.

She also teamed with Stella Hancock, Glory Blevins and Rylan Riffle to win the 4×200 in the time of 53.60.

Lindsey was also second in the long jump with a leap of 16 feet, 11 inches.

Lauren Hall had a first-place finish, winning the 1600 in the time of 5:43.59.

Hancock was second in the 100 hurdles in the time of 16.11.

As a team, the Lady Cats finished fifth overall with 84.5 points. Versailles claimed the team title with 122.5 points.

Griffin Osborne had a pair of second-place finishes in the boys meet.

He was second in the 100 in the time of 11.15 and 200 in the time of 23.44.

Osborne joined Nick VanHoose, Wyatt Davis and Kadrin Riffle to finish third in the 4×100 in the time of 44.97.

North Union finished seventh overall with 54 points. West Liberty-Salem was first with 151 points.
