Wildcats break losing skid with conference triumph over Shawnee
For the first time since late March the North Union baseball team walked off their field with the taste of victory.
However, it did not come without some anxious moments before the Wildcats defeated Shawnee 3-2 in Central Buck-was involved in a one-run contest.
In the previous six games the Wildcats finished on the short end of the final score.
But this time they finished on the plus side, winning their first CBC game of the season and second overall.
“It feels good to be on the better half of the score,” senior Tyler Krebehenne said.
