OHSAA announces divisional breakdowns for 2025 fall season

The Ohio High School Athletic Association recently announced its divisional breakdown for the 2025 fall sports season.

A pair of North Union teams will be playing in a different division from which they played in 2024.

Divisional breakdowns are based on school enrollment.

Starting this year, cross country increases from three to four divisions.

North Union competed in Division II boys last year, but this year was placed in Division III.

The Lady Cats remained in Division III.

North Union girls soccer will be playing in a different division this season after playing in Division V last year.

It will be competing in Division IV this season.

Based on enrollment, the Lady Cats are the third smallest school in the division.

North Union remained in the same division as it was in 2024 in football, boys golf, girls golf and volleyball.

It will be Division V, Region 20 in football, Division II in both boys and girls golf and Division V in volleyball.
