NU softball program picks up three wins and one loss in week stretch

The North Union softball team went 3-1 last week and is now 10-9 on the season.

The Lady Cats opened with victories over Graham (6-3), Dublin Jerome (11-2) and Graham (160). However, they ended the week with a loss to Kenton Ridge (9-0).

North Union scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to win the first game against Graham.

Leah Cox had two doubles and a single, Kennedy Harrah rapped a triple and single and Kailin McElroy had a pair of singles.

Brenna Martino was the winning pitcher, going six innings. She allowed five hits, walked three and struck our four.
