Wildcats suffer conference losses to Urbana, Graham

North Union’s baseball program fell short in two Central Buckeye Conference games in recent days.

The Wildcats suffered two losses last Friday and Monday. The team fell short against Urbana, 13-10, and Graham, 5-4.

The team’s overall record fell to 1-12 overall in the regular season alongside an 0-8 conference record. The Wildcats notched the first run in the top of the first inning against Urbana last Friday. That was followed up by two runs by the Hillclimbers in the bottom half putting the margin at 2-1.

After a scoreless inning on both fronts, North Union knotted up the scoreboard at 2-2 in the top of the third inning. However, Urbana jumped ahead padding its ledger with three runs to take a 5-2 …
