Opera House up for sale once again

The Opera House will be hitting the buyer’s market for a second time, which will be the last straw for some village council members.

At the regular meeting of Richwood council on Monday, Opera House committee member and council president Reddy Brown said that the committee would like to see the building go up for sale one more time.

Brown said that the committee believes Andrew Levering, with A+ Gutters and Drains out of Columbus, is willing to make an offer on the building.

“He’s A+ rated on the (Better Business Bureau) and he’s a North Union High School graduate,” Brown said, adding that Levering has interest in putting office spaces for rent inside the Opera House.
