NU FFA milk team takes on state competition

The North Union FFA Chapter competed in the state competition for the Milk Quality and Products Career Development Event. The competition took place on March 22 at the Ohio State Fairgrounds. FFA members had to demonstrate their knowledge about quality production, processing, distribution, promotion and marketing of milk and dairy foods. Students then also completed a written test. Riley Cremeans, Josie Held and Shean Householder represented North Union FFA’s High School Milk team.

North Union’s Middle School milk team also competed at the competition. Team members of the milk team included Rose Crabtree, Lucy Robinson, Allyson Sandusky and Ava Stuckey, who placed 11th in the state individually. The team placed 5th in the state.
