From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:

Deputies responded to a business in the 18000 block of Main Street in Broadway at 4:34 a.m., March 12, for a person threatening selfharm. The person was taken to the Union County Memorial Hospital and no report was taken.

At 4:47 p.m., March 12, a deputy was dispatched to a home in the 20000 block of Route 4 to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulent loan. A report was taken.

Jose A. Romero, 57, of Columbus, was arrested and charged with possession of drug abuse instruments following a traffic stop on Route 31 near Miller Road at 8:19 p.m., March 12. He was transported to the Union County Sheriff’s Office and was cited for impeding traffic and driving withou…
