Six Lady Cats entered the girls sectional tournament hosted by Marysville last weekend.

The top four placers in each weight class earned the right to compete in the girls district tournament.

North Union saw two out of its six grapplers place outside the top four with one claiming alternate status.

Cameron Ludwig defeated Olentangy Berlin’s Allison Quinn Ventura with a second-period to take fifth place at 100 pounds.

Rylee Horne was the second Lady Cat to place, taking sixth at 110 pounds.

Also competing for North Union, but not placing, included Olivia Ehrich (105), Addison Kirby (140), Madison Goad (145) and Dallis McIntire (155).

Marysville secured a sectional title with 296 points. Placing second as a team was Teays Valley (150.5), followed by Westerville North (96.5) in third.
