Sheriff’s Report

From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:

At 3:49 a.m., Feb. 11, a deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred at the intersection of May Street and Fountain Street in Magnetic Springs involving an unknown vehicle that struck a stop sign and then left the scene. A crash report was taken.

A deputy investigated a report of a forged document at a business in the 21000 block of Main Street in Raymond at 11:28 a.m., Feb. 11. A report was taken.

At 1:37 p.m., Feb. 11, a deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of Snyder Road for a trespassing complaint. No report was taken.

At 5:29 p.m., Feb. 11, a deputy was sent to a residence in the 26000 block Claibourne Road to investigate a report of a report of a dog bite. No report was taken.

At 9:13 p.m., Feb. 11, a deputy met with a Bexley police officer to take custody of Kelsey A. Hall, 33, of Marysville, for an outstanding arrest warrant and then transferred her to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Deontay T. Walker, 25, of Toledo, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Defiance County Sheriff’s Office as the result of a traffic stop on Route 31 near Richwood-Miller Road at 10:57 p.m., Feb. 11. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

A deputy met with a Columbus City Police officer to take custody of Anthony W. Snyder, 39, of West Jefferson, on an outstanding arrest warrant at 4:42 a.m., Feb. 12. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

A deputy met with a Delaware County Sheriff’s Office deputy to take custody of Patrick M. Kilosa, 29, of Columbus, on an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:41 p.m., Feb. 12. Kilosa paid his bond and was released.

Taylor R. Mayse, 27, of Magnetic Springs, was cited for speeding. At 5:11 p.m., Feb. 14, Mayse was driving a 2015 Acura TLX west on Delaware Avenue at Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard when she rear-ended a 2018 Nissan Frontier, which caused the Nissan to rear-end a 2025 Hyundai Genesis.

A deputy went to the Hamilton County Justice Center at 8:02 a.m., Feb. 14, to take custody of Joseph Lee Allen, 29, of Columbus, on an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District responded to a home in the 20000 block of Route 347 at 6:12 p.m., Feb. 15, for a person threatening self-harm. No report was taken.

Dustin Christopher O’Dell, 36, of Jackson, Michigan, was cited for failure to control and driving without a license after a property damage crash involving a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 van that left the roadway and came to rest in a ditch on Route 31 near Cotton Slash Road. A deputy was dispatched to the area at 6:22 p.m., Feb. 16, and no report was taken.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 20000 block of Evans Road at 12:37 a.m., Feb. 17, to investigate a report of unwanted social media messages. No report was taken.

Anthony James Solomon, 24, of Pueblo, Colorado, was cited for failure to control after a property damage crash involving a 2021 Ford F150 that left the roadway and struck an abandoned disabled 2020 Dodge Durango. At 5:39 a.m., Feb. 17, a deputy was dispatched to the scene on Raymond Road near Barker Road and a crash report was taken.

A deputy investigated a dispute between a male and female at a residence in the 31000 block of Route 31 at 11:13 a.m., Feb. 17. No report was taken.

At 4:59 p.m., Feb. 17, a deputy and units from the Northern Union County Joint Fire District assisted the Richwood Police Department with a domestic incident that occurred at a home on George Street in the village. The Richwood Police Department handled the investigation.

Deputies were dispatched to a home in the 10000 block of Harriott Road at 7:33 p.m., Feb. 17, to investigate a report of damage to a yard. No report was taken.
