North Union draws seventh seed in postseason bracket

With one game left in the regular season, North Union found out who its opponent will be for its opening Division V tournament game following Sunday’s boys basketball draw.

The Wildcats (11-10) were seeded seventh and will host eighth-seeded Liberty Union (10-10) on Feb. 22 at 4 p.m.

This is the second year ranking the teams was not done by the coaches as teams were ranked by the MaxPreps Ratings Percentage Index.

Another change from previous years was the inclusion have more divisions.

For the first time there are seven divisions, three more than last year.

North Union finishes the regular season at home on Saturday against Northwestern.

The game was scheduled to be played on Friday but was moved back a day because the Lady Cats are playing a tournament against against Northmor on Friday.
