NU secures a chance at a league title after defeating Bejamin Logan, 55-19

The way a basketball team plays on offense can sometimes run hot and cold.

A good way to overcome the times when there is a cold offense is to play topflight defense at the other end.

North Union moved things around pretty well offensively in the first half of its Central Buckeye Conference against Benjmain Logan last Saturday.

The second half did not quite go as well.

What was good for the entire four quarters was North Union’s suffocating defense which keyed a 56-19 victory.

It was the 10th time this season the Lady Cats held their opponent to less than 40 points in a game and fourth time a team did not get into the thirties.
