NUMS girls basketball collect pair of wins

The North Union Middle School girls basketball team won a pair of games over Shawnee.

The eighth-grade team, led by Chloe McElroy’s 24 points, posted a 40-24 victory.

The seventh-grade team posted a 29-24 win. Miri Taylor netted eight points and Kaydence Howard and Nuna Baker each had seven points.

The boys team also had games against Shawnee.

The eighth-grade team won 53-22 with Dom Hanline leading the way with 10 points.

Shawnee won the seventh-grade game 41-38. Luke Mask had 23 points for the Wildcats.
