NU girls basketball claims wins against Urbana and Northwestern

Finding the ability to play your best in critical times helps teams navigate through a season.

For the second game in a row the North Union girls basketball team was able to make the right decisions that led to a victory.

The second on-top-ofthings win came last Wednesday against Urbana as the Lady Cats bested the Hillclimbers 53-49 in overtime at North Union.

Junior Kennedy Harrah hit an off-balance jumper with nine seconds left in regulation to get North Union to overtime.

In the extra session, Harrah got the Lady Cats off to the right start with a drive down the lane and freshman Glory Blevins sealed the win with four free throws.
