Local Church starts aid fund for Helene relief

Fulton Creek Friends Church is putting together an aid fund for hurricane Helene relief in North Carolina.

Ed Kapraly, Outreach Elder at Fulton Creek Friends Church, said that the fund is being done through Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian international relief organization based out of Boone, North Carolina.

Kapraly said he has not yet been able to contact Samaritan’s Purse due to their call center being damaged, but that once he does he is going to ask them what they would like to do with the relief funds they raise.
