August 14: The Union county normal school will open at Richwood Monday, September 8, at 10 o’clock. Mrs. Lacey Packham will again be director of the school.

August 14: School Opens Sept. 1: All vacancies in the teaching corps of the Richwood schools have been filled. School will commence Monday September 1.

August 28: School will begin Sept. 1, and we are all set for a good year. The teachers are all employed and the buildings and grounds are being thoroughly cleaned and renovated for the reception of the teachers and pupils. School will begin at 9 o’clock, Eastern Standard time. We will dismiss for the noon hour at 12 o’clock. It would be a fine thing if the working day could …
