Sheriff’s Report
Deputies, along with units from the Northwestern Joint Fire District, responded to a home in the 23000 block of Route 31 at 9:55 a.m., July 26, for a person found deceased. The Union County Coroner was called to the scene. Officials said the individual dies of natural causes. A report was taken.
Adam J. Lester, 41, of Richwood, was issued a citation for failure to yield at a stop sign. At 1:59 p.m., July 26, a deputy, along with units from the Northwestern Joint Fire District and the Northern Union County Joint Fire and EMS District, responded to the 28000 block of Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox and a 2023 Kia Forte. A crash report was taken.
