Richwood council seat still vacant

The Village of Richwood is looking for a resident to fill its vacant council seat.

After the passing of council member George Showalter last month, one of council’s six seats needs filled by the end of this month.

The position will be filled by appointment at the council meeting on April 22.

“The term runs through Dec. 31, 2025. If you are interested in putting yourself forward as a candidate please complete a brief statement of interest (or a resume), including information about your background and qualifications and drop it off at the Municipal building at 153 N.
