North Union alumna earns third All-American honor

A North Union alumna added another feather to her collegiate volleyball cap after the conclusion of the 2023 fall season.

Journey Blevins made a name for herself while being a member of the University of Findlay’s women’s volleyball program prior to transferring to Gannon University; a private school located in Erie, PA.

A member of North Union’s 2020 graduating class, the American Volleyball Coaches Association awarded the outside hitter a Third-Team All-American nod for her production last season.

This marks the third All-American award for the 5’ 11” athlete. At Findlay, Blevins notched an AVCA NCAA Division II Honorable Mention award her freshman year and a Second- Team All-American honor t…
