NU Wildcat hoopsters prepare for 2023 winter campaign on hardwood

The 2022-23 season for the North Union boys basketball team was a campaign of ups and downs.

It was the first year the Wildcats were under the coaching of Ryan Grose and both went through the learning process of working together.

North Union finished the year with an 11-13 record and 5-5 in the Central Buckeye Conference’s Mad River Division.

Improvement looks to be on the horizon this season as Grose will have a large contingent of returnees.

“That is huge for us,” Grose said of the returning lettermen. “Not everything will be new for both me and them.”
