OCTOBER 19, 1923

Outplayed in every department of the game, LaRue High school’s football team were smothered by Richwood High on the LaRue field. When the final whistle blew Richwood had five times gone over the LaRue goal, while her line was not crossed by her opponents. Richwood scored within the first minute of play.

Equipment for drilling the oil well on the Grindel farm is being placed in position and The contract calls for an additional well to be started within a reasonable time after the completion of the first well. The maximum depth specified is 300 feet into Trenton sand.
