David (Dave) Bell Slonecker

 

David (“Dave”) Bell Slonecker, 83, of Marion, Ohio passed away on September 24, 2023, at his home after a short battle with Leukemia. Dave was born on November 20, 1939, to Mary Grace (Chamberlain) and Myrle Smith Slonecker in West Mansfield, Ohio. He graduated from West Mansfield (Bokescreek) High School and Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. He served in the Ohio Army National Guard, from which he was honorably discharged. Dave retired as an Area Manager from Goodyear after 33 years of employment.

Dave is survived by his beloved wife, Pat Slonecker, son, David B. Slonecker Jr. (Amy), daughters Laurie Slonecker and Debbie DeDent (Steve), sisters Margie Rhodes, Mary Kay O’Leary (Joe), Donna Jeanne Schunneman (Greg), and brother Bobby D…
