Sheriff’s Report

A deputy responded to Route 37 east of Route 347 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Honda Civic that lost control, drove off the road and struck a traffic sign at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 25. The driver, Christopher D. Desmarais, 42, of Marysville was issued traffic citations for failure to control and leaving the scene of an accident.

A Union County deputy met with a Marion County deputy to take custody of Jeremy G. Morgan, 45, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:42 p.m. Aug. 25. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Deputies assisted the Richwood Police Department with an impaired driver in the parking lot of North Union High School at 8:48 p.m. Aug. 25.
