Thomas E. “Tom” Lookabaugh

Thomas E. “Tom” Lookabaugh, age 56, of Marysville, died peacefully on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus following a battle with his health. On January 27, 1967, Tom was born in Marysville, Ohio, the oldest of four children of the late Jerry Leon Lookabaugh and Yvonnie Marie (Rousey) Lookabaugh. He was raised in Marysville until moving to Richwood in 1983, where he graduated from North Union High School in the class of 1985.

One night at a Bon Jovi concert in 1988, Tom had a very brief encounter with a young lady also enjoying the concert, Mellisa Lycans. Fast forward a few months, and Tom and Mellisa found themselves working together at Rax Roast Beef in Marysville, where Tom mustered up the strength to ask Mellisa…
