July 12: Beginning Saturday, July 14, carriers on the rural routes out of Richwood will leave the local post office at 8:30, or half an hour earlier than they now leave. The advantage of the new schedules lies in the fact that rural mail posted for delivery will leave Richwood at noon on train 16, six hours earlier than by the old schedule. Friday, July 17, the rural carriers will leave Richwood at 6:30 on their delivery. This is done in order that the carriers may attend the state postal convention at Marion that day.
