Local charged in stolen alcohol from garage
A Richwood man has been charged after allegedly stealing alcohol from a garage.
The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Samuel Ray Khanh Le, 27, whose court-listed address is 336 E. Blagrove St. in Richwood. Le has been charged with one felony count of burglary and one misdemeanor count of theft stemming from an incident on Sept. 6, 2026.
Court records indicate that around 6:08 a.m., Le entered an attached garage at a residence, 356 E. Blagrove St., which has access to the main home where the owners were sleeping. Le allegedly used a garage door opener that was inside of a parked vehicle to gain entry inside of the private garage.
