Richwood Civic Center

By Susie Pfarr, Executive Director

We have been extremely busy this past week. Thank you to the Richwood Fair, Union County Senior Services and the VFW for the great day at the fair. We served 290 meals to our seniors and veterans and then gave away lots of money playing Bingo.

Congratulations to the winners of our Ruth Woods Fun Run which was held Saturday, Sept. 5. Overall winner in the men’s was Henry Hayward and overall female winner was Sydney Pacha. Thank you all who donated and sponsored this fun event.

Also want to give a big congratulations to the winner of our America 250 quilt raffle Janey Dysert. Thank you to all who bought raffle tickets in support of all that we do here at the Richwood Civic Center.

The Richwood Farmers Market will be open every Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. through Oct.8 at Richwood Park Shelter House 1. Easy ways to support our activities and events are by buying a drink from Richwood Coffee. We receive 100% of the proceeds.
