NU girls capture FHS CC invitational

North Union’s girls varsity cross country team came out on top of the recent invitational that was held at Fairbanks High School.

The Lady Cats tallied 21 points to take first place honors.

Fairbanks was the runner-up with 50 points, while Wellington scored 51.

Marion Harding also competed in the race.

North Union’s runners’ results were as follows: -Third: Kailin McElroy, 13:18.21; -Fourth: Layney Wilds, 13:26.50; -Eighth: Allana Smith, 15:55.71; -Ninth: Analeigh Kelson, 16:05.58; -13th: Adalee Hunt, 16:…
