Council approves nearly $150K in paving

Richwood Council approved payment for three streets to be paved in the village.
At its regular meeting on Monday, council voted unanimously to pay Union County $146,194 to pave parts of George Street, Edgewood Drive and West Blagrove Street as part of a larger county resurfacing project that will kick off in late September or early October.
Mayor Scott Jerew said that the money will come out of the village street fund, which collects money from the road repair and maintenance levy. That three-year, 3-mill road levy is up for renewal on the ballot in November.
