North Union preseason scrimmages underway beginning with Fairbanks

After seeing players with same color uniforms for the past few weeks, North Union and Fairbanks lined up against each other on Saturday in a football scrimmage at Fairbanks.

“We were able to play somebody else beside ourselves,” North Union Head Coach Nick Hajjar said.

“It was a good learning experience for all of us,” said Fairbanks Head Coach Dave Carroll. “Overall, our kids gave great effort against a really great team.”

When everything was finished after the approximately two-hour scrimmage, both coaches were able to see the positives and the negatives.
