School board hears year-end report
As North Union prepares for the 2026-2027 school year, Superintendent Justin Ufferman gave an annual report from the past school year that included data reports and new developments like the new district smartphone app.
During the regular meeting of the board of education on Monday, Ufferman began his report with enrollment data, which is currently on a slow decline from 1,385 in 2024 to 1,355 this past year.
“Its a number we continue to keep an eye on,” Ufferman said. “Open enrollment is around 200-plus kids that we have open enrolled.”
