From July 22, 1926
Ellen and Dolph Potts, assisted by Miss Myrtle Austin, entertained the Golden Rule Band at the Potts’ home last Tuesday evening. The class and several visitors were present. The president, Leo Davis, called the meeting to order and after the devotional and business part of the meeting, a splendid program was given. Ice cream, cake and lemonade were served.

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Allen, son and grandson, and Miss Mary Cline, of Toronto, Ohio, were recent guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Allen. – – – Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brown and Daughter, Julia, of Ashland, Ky., are spending a part of their vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brown and other relatives in this vicinity. – – – Mr. and Mrs. Chahner E. Holt and daughters, of Texas City, Texas, were called to Richwood last Saturday by the serious illness of his father, E. E. Holt of North Franklin Street, who suffered a heart attack last week.

Ohio State University has issued its spring quarter honor roll of students receiving an average of at least 3.5. four students From Richwood have been named to the list: Ann Davis, 16096 Miller Road, Janet Kreamer, 201 E. Blagrove; Janet McKnight, Kinney Pike and Brad Ridge, Rt. 3.

The 52nd Bending, Collahan, Chapman Reunion was held at Kevin Chapmen’s house near Richwood on Saturday, June 30 with twenty-five in attendance. Those traveling the farthest were: Gary Parish of Virginia, Dale and Louise Chapman of Logan and Ray and Dinne Arnold of Marion. The Troup enjoyed swimming, visiting and Bingo.
