Football coaches use 7-on-7 workouts to help try and find pieces to lineup puzzles

Like the 500-piece jigsaw puzzle spread out on a table, high school football coaches work each day to connect the pieces until it forms a picture of a season. It takes time to interlock each piece and one day can be just as important as any other day.
North Union head football coach Nick Hajjar and his Fairbanks counterpart, Dave Carroll, went about the process of putting together parts of their team’s puzzle on Wednesday during a 7-on-7 scrimmage at North Union.
“It is always a learning process,” Hajjar said. “We are trying to get better from our first seven- on-seven, to the next one and from practice to practice.”
