Richwood prepares for summer events
Village officials were given information about upcoming summer events including the Mid Ohio Antique Farm Machinery Show and the second annual Richwood Summerfest.
During the regular meeting of Richwood Council on Monday, Tom Myers, president of the farm machinery show, said that the 46th year of the event will take place over three days, from July 24 to July 26. Myers came to ask if he could get some help from local law enforcement and the greater community to put on the event.
“This year we are featuring International Harvester and equipment,” Myers said. “My purpose here tonight is not only tell you about the show but ask permission to do an uptown tractor parade and maybe a car parade.”
