NU girls soccer team using the summer to work on continued improvements

North Union’s girls soccer team posted a school-record season in 2025 as it earned eight wins. However, the Lady Cats, who are embarking on their fifth season as a program, are not really looking back to what they did last season. It would be hard to not reflect back a little when you totaled as many wins in one season than you did in the previous three combined. But seniors Kinley Balzer and Jessanie Pfister enjoyed what the team did last year, but their focus is on making the most of the momentum from last year to this year’s team. “It was really great what we did, right from the beginning of the summer and all the way to the end of our last game,” Balzer said. “All the girls are putting in the …
