NU trap shooting team places second at state competition

North Union wrapped up their trap shooting season, finishing second in the state after competing against nearly 40 teams. Competing in large division, the trap shooting team was faced with numerous schools that had double the amount of athletes competing.

The divisions are based on team size, not school size. For instance, the team that took first place was more than three times the size of the entire North Union school district. On top of finishing second, they had one female, Abby Coss, and two male athletes, William Skriletz and Alex Dexter, rank top three for high-gun scores.
